“My Inauguration”     
A PowerPoint Project.

 

Location: Pennsylvania Avenue, NW Washington, DC

 

You will be writing a PowerPoint presentation describing your Inauguration Day.  
The presentation will describe your inauguration beginning with your Oath of Office Ceremony and Speech

on the steps of the Senate Building .

The PowerPoint slides will continue along your Inaugural Parade Route .

The Presidential Inauguration Parade is an American tradition honoring the newly sworn in President and Vice President.

The event will include a procession of ceremonial military regiments, citizens' groups, marching bands, and floats.

The inauguration parade is open to the public and is televised so that millions of Americans can view this special event.
The inaugural parade route is shown on the map above.

The project will begin with your speech on the steps of the U.S. Capitol Building

and proceed along the Pennsylvania Avenue parade route back to the White House.

 

Audio data is located on Server 2. You may use the snipping tool or clip art to assemble your photos.

Save Your speech as a wav. file on Server 2 in your folder.

Snip your photos of the parade route.

Open PowerPoint. Begin planning and preparing your presentation.


*When you have completed your slides and speech, you may make a 5 second video with a partner.

    You will need to use the green screen so that your video can be added to the Capitol Building shot.

   The video can be added to your slide show.


Each presentation will include:

  • Your Project Photos and video
  • Any extra material you feel will add to the content.

    *This will be a 2 week project. We will be presenting our work to the class after Spring Break.
